When writing an article about your products or something that interest you and others, Squidoo is one of the excellent places to go. Squidoo has a high page rank which is 7 and which in the internet marketing world means a lot because it connotes a high amount of visitors. Submitting your website to high page rank and very good Alexa ranking directories won’t do it all for you. Here, I summarized three (3) strategies that for sure will improve your Squidoo search engine optimization if you use them.
1.) Creating Backlinks
Backlinks or sometimes called an inbound links are the “lifeblood” of Search Engine positioning and a lifeblood to internet marketer campaigns as well. By writing articles you are creating backlinks but keep your articles in at least 1-3% density. Use your long tailed keyword phrases when writing articles.
Google readers are searching for the real content and so by using your keywords many times in your article you are already stuffing and sound like unnatural. This strategy may have worked in the past but no longer today. Google needs to locate your article so you should not over do it.
You can create backlinks as well by commenting on others people blogs but make sure the topic is relevant to yours. This is great as well for Squidoo SEO but then again don’t over do it. Always post legitimate comments and not an obvious sales purpose because this will be frown by administrators as spamming.
2.) Used Title Keyword Phrases and Sub-Title
In finding web pages, google uses a great system for this. Your lens must be properly indexed in order for them to find your lens much easier. The easiest way to do this is by using your keyword phrase in the Title or Subtitle of your lens. Remember to do it naturally so it doesn’t appear like you are forcing your keywords in.
Remember to always keep your keywords first in the title. For example, if your article talks about “Search Engine Optimization”, you can write something like this: Search Engine Optimization – Know the Benefits of it. In this way, the “spiders” know that you have written your lens about Search Engine Optimization thus will be easier to locate.
3.) Blogging
Writing a blog and posting to it on a regular basis is what the google spiders like because if they crawled your website on a regular basis, you will going to get a very good amount of visitors. Remember to create pages and write blog post using your targeted keyword phrase.
The great place to start blogging is by the use of wordpress and blogger. Google is a big fun of both that’s why many bloggers have reached further through blogging.
These are just few effective basic Squidoo SEO strategies even SEO experts do. But don’t rely on these strategies alone because these can’t give you millions of visitors overnight. Take note, more lenses and more content can do better than less.
